Satre Group Principal John Anderson served as Principal-in-Charge of Anderson Design, Inc. for this campus plaza renovation on the campus of Georgia State University – Dunwoody. A dysfunctional student center plaza in disrepair was reimagined as a multi-function campus space offering upgraded paving, multiple seating options and colorful landscapes. An awkward retaining wall was removed, replaced by a monumental staircase with seat walls overlooking the plaza. A new ADA compliant access walk connects the plaza to an adjoining campus open space, allowing free movement and access for all.
