Working with PIVOT Architects, Satre Group acted as landscape architect and site design lead for this unique building. The design challenge revolved around allowing clients with developmental disabilities to access a building that needed to be raised four feet above grade. The solution was a gently sloping ‘Garden Walk’ intended to allow everyone easy access to the entrance. Several outdoor meeting spaces are provided with generous seating and colorful landscape. A substantial labyrinth feature completes the scene, universally accessible and open to all who visit.
